KJ Martin finished Saturday’s win over the Rockets with 11 points (5-of-9 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in 29 minutes.

After coming off the bench in his Jazz debut on Friday, Martin moved into the starting lineup Saturday night because John Collins (back) was unavailable. KJ played against his former team and provided modest value in his 29 minutes on the court. While there may be more opportunities for Martin to play moving forward, Kyle Filipowski (eight points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 15 minutes) would be the superior “silly season” stash.
