Keshad Johnson provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and three three-pointers against the Hornets on Tuesday.

Johnson took on extra minutes off the bench with Bam Adebayo (calf) sidelined. He filled out the backup center minutes behind Kel’el Ware in what ended up being a small reserve lineup for Miami. Clearly, it wasn’t an effective strategy. Still, Johnson was able to have a productive night in 20 minutes off the bench, though even if Bam misses another game, Johnson shouldn’t be seen as a safe streaming option.
