Karl-Anthony Towns finished Monday’s exhibition against the 76ers with five points (2-of-4 FGs), five rebounds and two assists.
Towns recently expressed displeasure with how his contract negotiations with the Knicks have gone, but he also vowed professionalism won’t be an issue. The 7-footer has a player option worth $61 million for the 2027-28 campaign, but closing a deal before the season starts would likely save the Knicks money.
